Local Supply and Parish Pets are hosting a Pet Adoption event with Companion Animal Alliance on Friday, June 23. The event will be hosted at Electric Depot (1509 Government Street) in Mid City, Baton Rouge from 2-6PM. Coinciding with the event will also have some pet-related vendors that are a part of the Local Pop-Up collaborative. The event is free to attend and parking is ample, which is also free. There will also be pet-friendly vendors set up at the event, such as Sonder South. The Pet Adoption event is to help Companion Animal Alliance with their overflow of animals they have taken into their care. Since May 1st, they have taken in 400+ animals and have been forced to euthanize 10+ dogs a day. This event is for anyone who has ever considered adopting or fostering a dog.
